Our Council is the Oldest and Fastest Developing, Self Sufficient, Non-Profit Making, Non-Governmental Organisation, the brainchild of some Enthusiastic, Dedicated, disciples of Dr. William Heinrich Schuessler, namely Dr. Birendra Kumar Chattopadhyay, Arun Lal Barman, Dr. Sudhir Kumar Ghosh, Dr. Haripada Mollick, Dr. Nripendra Chandra Sarkar, Prakiti Kumar Sarkar and Dr. Subodh Chandra De Biswas, who jointly established this Institution in 1975, to impart the Knowledge of Biochemic Method of Treatment along with its practical implementation and efficacy in the modern day treatment. Late Satya Prasad Gon of Pepulberia, Nadia, generously donated the land on which the present Council building stands.

The Council is Registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act 1961; West Bengal Act XXVI of 1961, Government of West Bengal Registration No. S0018026 of 1986-87, Legacy Registration No. S/18026 of 1976-77.

The objective of forming this Council was to create Awareness and convey the message amongst General Public regarding efficacy of Biochemic Medicine in day to day health care problems and at the same time preach the Art and Science of Biochemic Method of Treatment and provide the nation with Well Educated as well as Well Trained complete Biochemic Physician through its Affiliated Colleges, spread over different districts of West Bengal, for the benefit of our society.

Today we can proudly claim that we have succeeded in our mission and is on the right track, as till date, almost 5000 highly skilled passouts from our Council is successfully providing treatment and medical care to millions of sick personal in every corner of India, with pride and dignity.

The Council imparts 4 (four) year Diploma and 1 (one) year compulsory Practical Training to the students through its Affiliated Colleges and after its successful completion, offers the BDMS Certificate (Diploma in Biochemic Medicine & Surgery) and also the Registration Certificate, through a Convocation organised by the Council.

This Council grants Affiliation to such Colleges only after very careful verification, scrutiny and enquiry, which are run by Non-Profit making Organisation, who undertakes in writing to abide by the specifications and criteria laid down by the Council and follow the syllabus introduced by the Council. These Affiliated Colleges are entrusted with the task of imparting quality education (at par with modern advanced teaching system) through highly educated, experienced and competent teachers, at an affordable rate, on all Medical subjects, details of which are available in the syllabus. The teaching process of every college is strictly monitored by the Council.
